God the whaaaaaat?!

Written by G.P, correspondent.

That’s my initial reaction when I heard that statement, ‘god the mother’. My mind went topsy-turvy, what the heck! I ran to my Bible, I mean, one of my Bibles and dug in. I do hope you also have a Bible, I mean a hard copy of the Holy Book. I’ll tell you one day why it’s important… But, today, let’s talk about ‘god the mother’.

Before I go to my Bible, let me clarify that the title itself just gives me the creeps. Please allow me to say ‘gtm’ instead of the entire thing… It’s just freaky! One of their fliers says, ‘gtm came to earth to look for you’…. Geez! It doesn’t get scarier than that! Now that’s out of the way, let’s take a look at what the good Book has to say.

I found many, many scriptures that talk about ‘God the Father.’ There’s one that’s very direct it and straight to the point.

1 Corinthians 8:6 ESV ‘Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.’

After reading this verse, can we honestly open the mouth to speak of ‘gtm’? The Bible is very clear, there is one God, the Father! Honestly, if you believe in another god, you’re blind and you need to wake up, or else you won’t have another chance to repent. If you visit the book of John, Jesus constantly refer to His Father in heaven. Why would He only talk about His Father and totally keep mum about the mother? I find the book of John full of revelations about who Jesus was. He is not only the Mediator, the Way, Truth and Life, Saviour among other things but, He is the Son of God, the Son of Man, the Son of the Father. There’s absolutely no mention of gtm, if she really exists, why did Jesus not mention her? If you can’t go through the entire book of John, try studying:

  • 1: 14
  • 5: 17-18
  • 7: 28- 29
  • 8: 19, 20, 58
  • 10: 30, 36-39
  • 14: 6-11, 20, 23, 26
  • 17: 1-5, 20-21
  • 20:17

Many other scriptures in the Bible talk about God the Father, the only God. Some of them are: Ephesians 4: 6 which talks about one God, and Father of all. You can also read Matthew 23: 9; Psalms 68: 5; Isaiah 64: 8; Ephesians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4; James 1:17; 1 Peter 1:3; Romans 8: 15; 1 John 3: 1, 4:14; Mathew 3: 16-17, 6:26, 11:27 and 28: 19 among several other scriptures.

What do former church members of this ‘church’ or cult say?

The Bible says that in the last days, many false Christs, pastors, teachers and prophets will arise. Salvation is personal, it is your responsibility to guard your own salvation. Before you eat something, make sure it’s real food first. Don’t just say ‘amen’ to whatever sounds ‘spiritual’….. test the spirits!

I found this article when I was done with mine. I think it’s worth taking a look at.

Till next time, God bless…. God the Father, the real deal.

Peace out.
