A review on Diaro

Vision board

Vision boards have been a thing for a long time yet, yours truly has been ignoring until this year, I couldn’t ignore them anymore. Almost everyone, in every corner is talking of ‘writing the vision down’. So, I went ‘vision board hunting’ on Google Play Store. I found lots of them but they were just not what I wanted. One after the other, I uninstalled them.

It’s been some months now since my last vision board uninstallation. I really wished I could find one that allowed multiple photos in an entry and easy to use until a few days ago, I remembered Diaro. I used Diaro 5yrs ago, then my tablet ‘died’…. I then started using a phone that could not take many apps due to storage. So, I lost touch with Diaro coz I couldn’t download any extra apps. I’m so happy that I now have a new handset and I have reconciled with Diaro. Back in 2015, I gave Diaro 4 stars but, today I feel like they deserve a whole 5 stars and lots of hugs!

Diaro – Diary, Journal, Notes, Mood Tracker was developed by Pixel Crater Ltd and released on 05/ 12/ 2012. It is rated 3+ on Google Play Store, has 4.6 stars and 1m+ downloads. It is secure, a user can lock with a pin, security code or finger print. It can be linked to a Dropbox account for cloud storage.

Entries can also be done on the website, there’s a geo-tagging feature on new entries, users can export entries to PDF, TXT and CSV. Entries can also be imported from Evernote, Dayone and Journey. Entries can also be shared on various social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, SMS, Twitter, E-mail and many more. Diaro can be used as a business planner, normal diary, a daily expense tracker, diet journal, travel journal, blog content planner, notepad, daily gratitude journal and a whole lot more! It has reminders and it can be used offline.

One great thing about the app is, it’s very easy to use. It’s incredibly easy to navigate. The reason why it stole my heart is its ability to attach unlimited photos in an entry! Finally…. A vision board that does exactly what I wanted!

This app has many, many great features, and this is only the Basic version. It also has a PRO version which I’m so sure is a bomb! Well, in case you are wondering, I wasn’t paid to write this review…. I’ve never ever reviewed an app but…. Well, I’m in love with Diaro – it’s more than just a Diary, more than a Journal, Notepad and Mood Tracker… It’s now my best friend!

I have only 2 recommendations for the developers. Maybe they’re not included in the Basic version, but I hope they’re included in the PRO version. Firstly, allow for multi-reminders. Like an alarm. I’d prefer at least 2 reminders because some people might want to write a morning and evening entry. The second one, can you please do a template for a To Do list that is in list form with an option to check boxes? If these are PRO version features, well done! If not, please consider them.

Well, if you have never tried Diaro, don’t take my word for it… Go to Google Play Store and download your own best friend. You can find the developers on Facebook: facebook.com/diaroapp. Visit their blog on diaroapp.com/blog or visit http://www.diaroapp.com. Come back and let me know what you think.
