Francis Muleso

Francis Muleso is an upcoming artist who was born in Malawi and now based in Johannesburg with his family. He is a song composer and instrumentalist.

Professional background

My Professional work started as soon I arrived in South Africa in 2007 when I met with Mawande Stuurman who has worked with big names locally and internationally and also I met Born Afrikan, I have worked with them in studio production and playing live instruments. It did not end there as I also started hosting live shows in Midrand.  I have also worked on charity works helping those in need. I happen to be featured in different newspapers for the work I’ve done. I then hosted my first international concert in different African countries hosting The Temptations of Soul to Soul fame from Detroit USA. SABC News and other media productions covered the tour.

2020: I started working on my own international single long overdue release and have recorded with the best in SA Afro Stars which features Zandile who have worked with the likes of R Kelly and has travelled the world. Pam Jikwa one of the best SA vocalists worked with Bebe Winans and many SA big names, Reuben Malgas worked with Judith Sephuma, Simphiwe Dana to mention but few, Christos currently based is SA a Gospel Star from Malawi. My single also featured legendary The Temptations Review and Bernard Gibson and it was produced by Mawande a well-known with Awards International Producer.   The love from American Radio and TV Stations that are playing the Video and Music, Malawi Nigeria, Botswana i media and South African media have also been doing great work from Cape Town TV, Radios, SABC Umhlobo Wenene the list is so endless.

What I am busy with right now

Right now am busy promoting my Covid 19 single, ‘Send a little bit of Love‘ featuring The Temptations and Afro Stars. Apart from raising awareness of Covid 19 Pandemic, am using this song to also raise funds and material that will help fight this Covid 19 pandemic. Proceeds from this song will go towards helping the artists that have been directly and heavily affected by this pandemic financially. A part of the proceeds will also go towards  procurement of PPEs that will be donated to a few Health Centres in Malawi that are currently struggling to fight this pandemic because of lack of equipment.
